I participated in the 76th Conference of Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry.
I participated in the 76th Conference of Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry held at Kyoto University, and gave a tutorial lecture titled "An Introduction to Lanthanide Single-Molecule Magnets: How Can a
Molecule Behave as a Magnet?" at the symposium on molecular spin. Thank you very much to everyone who attended. I listened to lectures on conductive molecules, quantum magnets, liquid molecular magnets, and magnetic field-dependent luminescence, and was reminded of the diversity of molecular spin. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Kamebuchi (Osaka Metropolitan University), who organized the symposium. I apologize for talking too much during my lecture and running out of time. I will also distribute the slides used in the lecture, so please contact Horii by email if you need them (you are always welcome).
Rurino Tanaka, one of my students from when I was at Nara Women's University, also presented on the magnetism of a composite consisting of a single-molecule magnet and a spin qubit (with some very interesting results).
